[Qt-interest] QT 4.6.1 on Solaris 10 X86 - Weirdness

Hello guys,

I'm making some Solaris packages, build went OK but I have some rather 
... unusual problems.

The first two are probably related; when I run one of the examples which 
is likely to produce a lot of warnings / output (such as a the hellogl 
example) I'm presented with output in Chinese (or some other asian 
language) - a picture tells 1000 words:

Secondly, after the program exits I see a number of folders in my ~/ 
also with Chinese or other chars in their name:

Lastly, the applications all look like they're using motif instead of QT...

Any suggestions on the first two?
