Agreed.
However, MS has always taken the approach, that when you have multiple platforms, its ok to have the stronger platform have "better/different" results, rather than hamstring the results to the weaker platform.
Im not saying I agree with it, and its bit me more than I care to think.. but .Net works better on mobile then Qt works as an WebApp :)

We did some studies during the Windows CE porting process. And we came to the conclusion that .NET for embedded/mobile is not exactly the same as the one in the desktop. There are missing features, missing functionality, things don't work exactly the same, etc.
