Qt 4.6 is now included in MinGW Cross Compiling Environment as of
version 2.10.
http://www.nongnu.org/mingw-cross-env/
The website gives details, but mingw-cross-env will, without any hassle,
build a complete cross building environment targeting MinGW-Win32 on a
variety of Unix systems, complete with lots of libraries.
Mingw-cross-env is geared toward static builds, but it's trivial to
modify the Qt makefile provided to get a shared build, including WebKit.
If you prefer working in a Unix environment or are looking for a way to
speed up building Qt applications (and Qt itself) for MinGW, you should
have a look.
Suggestions and contributions are welcome of course.
This project is not sponsored or supported by Nokia or MinGW.org
Thanks to Volker Grabsch (who runs mingw-cross-env) and the various
authors of web pages about cross compiling Qt for MinGW, including
"Divided Mind" and "Silmor".
