I can't honestly answer this myself, as my ODBC points to a remote
machine and as a result I suffer from the consequences so it would be
un-reasonable for me to comment.
But having said that the (trivial) queries that are currently run and
the result sets they return show no obvious lag or degradation, but I've
not got to the really difficult ones yet!
