[Qt-interest] Why doesn't the X11 paint engine support QPaintEngine::PixmapTransform? (Re-post due to missing line-breaking)

We'd much rather they improved their OpenGL drivers, which we can in turn use 
in the OpenGL graphics system.

In the end, we'd rather restrict X11 usage, not increase it. X11 is good for 
providing us with incoming events, but for rendering, using the hardware with 
as few layers in-between is better.
