[Qt-interest] loading ui files in visual studio

We're using MSVC8 with Qt 4.5.1 commercial.  If we create a ui file from the 
standalone designer, add it to an existing project and try to open it within the 
VS IDE it won't open.  It seems that the VSIntegration version of designer doesn't 
like the <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> line.

Is there anyway to fix this behavior beside switching to the plugin?
