Easiest way to do this: distribute the Qt DLLs and plugins along with
your application. Place QtCore4.dll, QtGui4.dll, etc where your .exe
is. Windows will search there first. Just make sure the manifests are
right if building with VC++2005 or newer, both for your application
and for Qt DLLs.

That's probably because the installer compresses those 2GB into a few
hundred MB. Take the 'bin' and 'plugins' directories and zip them.
