If you inspect the full e-mail headers, you'll see some 
extra stuff like "In-Reply-To" and "References".  This 
enables mailing lists and e-mail clients to thread your 
e-mail.

So, even though you cleaned out the subject line, these 
extra "hidden" fields remained in-tact.  Thus, you hi-jacked 
the thread.

The proper way to start a new topic it to start a NEW e-mail 
(not as a reply or forward) to qt-interest at trolltech.com.
