Try to open an email message from this thread as source. Most email 
clients allow you to see that. You'll notice that the headers contain a 
lot more information than just the subject and the date. For instance, 
your message contains this header line:

In-Reply-To:<201010312158.07321.thiago at kde.org>

Email clients use this, and possibly other headers to organize messages in a tree. You changing the subject line does not alter these other headers, so your message will still appear as part of that tree structure.

Take-home message: if you want to start a new discussion or ask a new question, create a completely new message and address it to qt-interest at trolltech.com yourself. Simply creating a reply and changing the subject line will not modify the additional headers that you can't see or manipulate in your email program.
