[Qt-interest] qt3 to qt4 migration question

I am using qt-4.6.2.  I compiled it with qt3support.  I know of some 
applications  still reliant on the qt3 toolkit. I would be grateful to know if 
these can be recompiled   to use the qt4 toolkit with qt3-support enabled and 
if so what are the required changes,  procedures etc.
