[Qt-interest] Questions about Nokia Qt SDK

I tried both versions 1.0 and 1.0.1 of Nokia Qt SDK.

And MSVC 2010 compiler was fixed in September (http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-11445), so it's not broken anymore. And, if you read comments to that bug report, you'll see that mkspecs I use to build desktop version of Qt were working (or, at least, seemed to work :) ) even before Microsoft released the fix.

Anyway, one of Nokia Qt SDK's purposes, if not the primary one, is development for mobile platforms (Symbian and Maemo). And as long as I can't install it, I have to use other ways (Windows-only Symbian SDK and Linux-only Maemo SDK) to compile applications for these platforms. It's very inconvenient to reboot the computer just to compile some code because native development tools don't work for some strange reason.

It wouldn't be that bad if there was a way to restore original configuration other than manually editing registry entries (even Nokia Qt SDK uninstaller doesn't restore original configuration leaving broken (for C++ files) and useless (for Qt-specific files, e.g. *.pro) file associations).

I can't say precisely when it broke, so there's no way to tell what change in the system configuration might cause it, but the biggest change between "working" and "broken" installed was migration from MSVS 2008 to MSVS 2010 [Express]. Has anyone experienced similar behavior?
