[Qt-interest] What versions of Windows can Qt programs run on?

What versions of Windows can run Qt programs?  Looking at
  http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/supported-platforms.html
it seems the official answer is XP or higher are supported.  But I've tried 
Win/2K with success, so unsupported doesn't mean it won't work.  Win/95 and 
Win/98 gave DLL errors that I couldn't fix.  I don't have ME or NT 
available for testing.  I have no desire to run these older operating 
systems, but I'd like to know what to say when I'm documenting system 
requirements.

indicates that the answer depends on both the Qt version and the compiler 
used.  I'm using Qt 4.7-rc1 and MinGW 4.4.
