I can't help but answer with a movie quote: "Why do you ask questions to 
which you already know the answer?"

Qt runs on XP and higher. If it runs on something before that it's a 
coincidence (or rather good and portable coding), and some day it will 
just break without anyone telling you.

If you need to support Windows ME - which would instantly drive me 
insane :) - or some other incredibly old version, don't use Qt. The same 
goes for all other platforms. You are not going to find a recent Qt that 
runs on SuSE 6.2.
