There are two paths right now... The traditional C++ route for building native "business" looking apps using widgets or the QML "Flashy" interface using drawing primitives. While knowing Qt C++ classes is going to always be smart, I think the decision between C++ or QML is going to be the first decision you will have to make...

You never said what you intend to use it for?

Subject: [Qt-interest] New in to Qt. Any advice welcome.

Hi friends,

I am new to Qt and to this list.
I am a programmer but until now I have developed application with Omnis
Studio. I have also worked for the web mainly PHP, JaveScript and HTML.
I have a working knowledge of C++ .
My question is, in order to learn to use Qt in a productive level what
would you suggest to do? Is there any books about Qt that I could read,
video tutorials or anything else that could help me out?

Thank you in advance,

George
