[Qt-interest] The argument for Qt

One of my MAIN points to take from this discussion...		

Qt could become a major player, if the people in charge, and even with
open governance there will be people in charge... Chose to active
support and port to both iOS and Android...

Even if its "QML" only support...

I did not SAY KDE would die...  I said, KDE can die.. You said it
cant... Which is total BS..

Any project can die, if something newer and sexier comes around, and
people migrate towards it...

Part of what has made Qt so powerful in the commercial environment, is
the stability introduced by a real company (TrollTech and then Nokia)
supporting it.

Sorry, but KDE's release process is not the same as TrollTech's was or
Nokia's is... 

If no one is giving real commercial support, and I hope digia keeps it
up... Qt will become one, in a long list of "project only  opensource
widget sets" used by "those who now best" and make no money doing it...
wxWidgets any one?

Well, OK.  Though I gave you good enough reasons of why Qt will not go
away.  KDE has been around for 15 years now and, in contrast to Qt, it
was never owned by a commercial entity.  Qt was, and is now in trouble. 
  If Nokia abandons it, KDE will pick it up.  If you think KDE will die
away, then please show some proof of at least indication of that.
