I like this, and want to add that we wouldn't have to wait until 4.7.1 to start
adding features back to QtQuick. (Blur, etc)
I really like the idea of a QtQuick release separate from Qt itself. Qt should
only provide the raw Declarative Engine. Elements should be seperated into
QtQuick, as I described previously.

I agree this is a good idea, but why wait until Qt 4.7.1? Why not release
another release candidate for 4.7.0 so that the change can go into the initial
version of the 4.7 series rather than confusing things part way through.
Better and clearer to get it right from the initial release of QtQuick I
think.
