If you listened to the press briefing Elop also said that they're not
likely to touch it much.

Are you kidding? Of course they want to kill it. Qt can power and
speed development of platforms which compete directly with WP7. Do you
think they want to see MeeGo succeed so that they can be the next
obsolete OS?
