Just for fun: I tried how many buttons I can push with only one finger. On
my mouse I was only limited by the three buttons that it has. On my
keyboard I could press considerably more: in the range of 5 per finger at
once and all of them in sequence... ;-)

I believe Joystick events are often relayed as mouse events and I have
seen joysticks with more than 30 buttons (only god knows what game
designer tortures his vict^Wcustomers with a choice of 30 ways to
annihilate innocent pixel monsters).
