I propose to completely remove the qtquick1 examples instead, as I don't think they serve any purpose.

People developing with qtquick1 started doing so in 4.8 and will have a corresponding Qt version around.

Subject: [Releasing] QtDeclarative aka QtQuick1 examples & docs

Hi,

In the RC1 we included the examples from the 'qtquick1' repo , also showed them in Qt Creator, but left out the documentation for QtDeclarative: We just point to the Qt 4.8 docs for the interesting parties.

I'd like to propose that we keep the qtdeclarative/examples in the source packages, but do not show them in Qt Creator. This avoids confusion for new starters who will be confused by "Declarative" vs "Qml" and "Quick" examples, while at the same time keep them around in the repo / source packages for people.

Please speak up soon if you disagree.

Regards

Kai
