Please also be aware of regression https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-27122
which has been introduced in b84e180263d0da3d1e6967fcf759225a778ea6ea, picked into 4.8
on August 7th.

I don't know if anyone is working on it, but it's certainly a serious regression that's
known to break at least one application.
