Let me rephrase, 'the primary way to build is using qmake and make'. I
apologize for bad wording.

My 1st point is that we should have good level of automated and manual
testing for things we want to have working in all releases. It is very bad
when things are found last minute, possibly causing a full testing cycle
to be restarted. It is very costly, and also means good development time
is wasted when we need to again start packaging, testing etc activities.

My 2nd point is that in some case we may end up not having something
working if problems are found late, and that something is not primary use
case.

For the cmake problem, hopefully a fix is available soon so that we can
discuss what would it mean if it is taken into 5.1.0 - and at least it
will be there in Qt 5.1.1.
