Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting 24.11.2014:

- Qt 5.4.0 RC status
	* No RC packages available at the moment
	* New build just started & we should have RC candidate packages available for testing tomorrow morning	 
	* Target is to put RC out later this week if nothing new & serious enough found during testing

- Plan is to minimize changes between RC & Final
	* There is already few changes waiting for qt5.git integration. Those needs to be in. But new ones will be staged in only if those are really needed for 5.4.0, all others are postponed to 5.4.1

- Due to delays with RC target is to put Qt5.4.0 final out 9th Dec 2014

- Next meeting Mon 8th Dec 2014 16:00 CET

[17:07:26] <jaheikki3> Rebuild is just started & we should have new packages for testing tomorrow morning

[17:09:59] <kkoehne> jaheikki3: With the current setup, how do we ensure that patches pushed to a 5.4.0 branch actually end up in 5.4.0?
[17:10:19] <kkoehne> jaheikki3: Do we stop staging at one point, and wait for a final qt5.git integration?
[17:11:40] <jaheikki3> kakoehne: well, yes. I think we should try to minimize changes for 5.4.0 now & take in only those which are really must have ones

[17:12:27] <kkoehne> jaheikki3: Okay, makes sense.
[17:13:05] <kkoehne> jaheikki3: In the past we also often enough did decisions like "if the current build integration we take it, otherwise we use the older packages for the final". That's why I'm asking.
[17:13:26] <kkoehne> jaheikki3: Anyhow, fair enough.
[17:14:02] <jaheikki3> kkoehne: There is already few changes waiting for qt5.git integration. We need to get those in. I think there will be some others still but let's try to keep amount as minimal as possible
