[17:02:42] <jaheikki3> Time to start qt release team meeting
[17:02:48] <jaheikki3> On agenda today:
[17:02:54] <jaheikki3> Qt 5.13.0 status
[17:03:06] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda?
[17:03:36] <frkleint> official end of 5.6. should be around these days
[17:05:11] <jaheikki3> frkleint: It has been at the end of March already?
[17:06:26] <frkleint> yep
[17:06:28] <jaheikki3> Ok, let's browse through 5.13.0 status
[17:07:19] <jaheikki3> Unfortunately beta4 not ready yet
[17:07:35] <jaheikki3> openSSL update still ongoing
[17:08:10] <jaheikki3> Quite qood progress there but still issues with windows7, see QTBUG-75815
[17:08:11] <qt_gerrit> jaheikki3: Tests are crashing in Windows 7 and openssl 1.1.1b in multiple Modules - https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-75815 (Open)
[17:08:26] <frkleint> and apparently some examples don't work cross-platform due to some patch / build sys goof up; https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-75809
[17:08:29] <qt_gerrit> frkleint: [REG 5.13.0 beta3->beta4] QNX7, gcc_64: few examples not compiling - https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-75809 (Reported)
[17:09:09] <frkleint> hm, qood progress sounds a bit over-optimistic, then
[17:09:10] <jaheikki3> frkleint: Yeah, that is new finding from RTA
[17:10:44] <jaheikki3> frkleint: well, there has been issues with linux and other windows as well and those seems to be soilved so from that point of view there is good progress. But yes, it seems there is still quite much work to be done to get the update in
[17:11:47] <jaheikki3> Most of changes files already in but few still waiting +2. See https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/q/message:%22Add+changes+file+for+Qt+5.13.0%22,n,z
[17:12:09] <jaheikki3> 8 Issues open in blocker list, see https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=20625
[17:12:47] <jaheikki3> 4 without a fix (proposal)
[17:13:00] <jaheikki3> New beta4 snapshot produced & RTA testing ongoing
[17:13:46] <jaheikki3> At least two new blockers already reported
[17:14:17] <jaheikki3> So we aren't ready for beta4 yet even we would do it without updated openSSL
[17:15:26] <jaheikki3> beta3 was released 2 weeks ago so it is time to get beta4 out, even without updated openSSL
[17:15:36] <jaheikki3> In that case we need beta5 of course
[17:15:58] <jaheikki3> But let's see when we are ready for it
[17:16:23] <jaheikki3> That's pretty much all at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:18:29] <jaheikki3> Ok. let's end this meeting now & have new one tue 21st May as planned
[17:18:37] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye!
[17:18:40] <frkleint> bye
