Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 22nd October 2019

Qt 5.14 status:
- Beta2 content in place, package creation ongoing
- Target is to get beta2 out during this week
   * Let's see if that will happen; there has been quite much challenges with package creation lately
- API review still ongoing, see https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-77839
   * qtbase, qt3d & qtwebengine still under review
- String freeze should be in effect ~between beta2 and 3 --> soft string freeze will be in effect at the beginning of next week

Qt 5.13.2 status:
- New snapshot under RTA
- Release content almost in place
   * 3 changes to webengine under integration (see https://testresults.qt.io/coin/integration/qt/qtwebengine/tasks/1571733930)
   * qtbase changes file under integration 
   * New release blocker just reported: QTBUG-79397
- After those remaining changes are in we will create "RC" packages & release those as Qt 5.13.2 if all OK according to RTA
   * Release can't happen Thu 24th October ad planned. Let's see if that will happen during this week or do we need to postpone it to the next one

[17:05:40] <jaheikki3> There is some challenges with export because of broken symlinks in qtwebengine but workaround for that is almost ready
[17:05:50] <jaheikki3> Target is to get beta2 out during this week
[17:06:03] <jaheikki3> Let's see if that will happen; there has been quite much challenges with package creation lately
