Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 17th August 2021

Qt 6.2 status:
- Beta3 packages under testing. Qt 6.2 Beta3 will be released later this week
- String freeze in effect
- API review still ongoing

- Beta4 target ~ Beginning of September
- RC target 14th September, RC blocker list here: https://bugreports.qt.io/issues/?filter=23260

Qt 6.1 status:
- Branching from '6.1' to '6.1.3' done
- Release preparations ongoing
   * Target is to freeze release content later this week & get the release out during next week

Commercial 5.15-LTS:
- Qt 5.15.6 release preparations ongoing
   * Target is to branch from 'lts-5.15' to 'lts-5.15.6' later this week
   * Target is to release commercial Qt 5.15.6 at the end of August

[17:06:36] <carewolf> yeah, have a few I need to close, and QML API reviews only came up last week

[17:08:37] <jaheikki3_> Target is to release one additional beta (beta4) at the beginning of September and then RC mid september (14th September)
