Meeting minutes from Qt Release Team meeting Tue 19th October 2021

Qt 6.2 status:
- Branching from '6.2' to '6.2.1' done
- Snapshot created and tested
   * Few regressions found and fixes should be in
- Release content not frozen yet
   * Target is to freeze the release content as soon as possible
- Target was to release Qt 6.2.1 Thu 21st October but that won't happen. 
   * Target is  to get Qt 6.2.1 release out Fri 22nd or Mon 25th October

Qt 5.15.7 plan
- Target is to release commercial Qt 5.15.7 Wed 27th October

[17:06:10] <jaheikki3> Few regressions reported from that test round. Most urgent ones already fixed and fixes should be in '6.2.1'
[17:06:55] <jaheikki3> Unfortunately release content not frozen yet; couple of changes still integration + one blocker proposal under analysis

[17:12:07] <jaheikki3> thiago: Not yet, Qt 5.15.3 commercial LTS was released March this year
[17:12:17] <carewolf> no that was in early 2021, but don't we have bimonthly releases?
[17:12:56] <jaheikki3> Yes, based on Tarja's plan target is to release commercial 5.15.7 during next week
