Qt 6.8 status
* Qt 6.8.1 is released , see https://www.qt.io/blog/qt-6.8.1-released
* The target is to release Qt 6.8.2 by the end of January 2025
Qt 6.9 status
* Qt 6.9 Feature freeze will be in effect this Friday (6th of December)
* As earlier, changes which were approved by the end of Friday, can still be staged in 'dev' over the weekend.
* The plan is to branch from "dev" to "6.8" on Monday morning next week.
* The target is to release beta1 before Christmas break

[17:07:28] <jaheikki3> No public snapshot from the 'dev' yet, testing of previous snapshot still ongoing (it was delayed because of Qt 6.8.1 testing)
