[17:00:49] <vohi[M]> jaheikki3: pong
[17:00:51] <akseli> jaheikki3: pong
[17:01:04] <thiago> jaheikki3: pong
[17:01:58] <jaheikki3> time to start qt release team meeting
[17:02:03] <jaheikki3> On agenda today:
[17:02:06] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.11 status
[17:02:09] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.12 status
[17:02:17] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda?
[17:03:17] <jaheikki3> Let's start from Qt 6.11 status
[17:03:21] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.11.3 preparations are ongoing
[17:03:29] <jaheikki3> Branching from 6.11 to 6.11.3 is done
[17:03:42] <jaheikki3> First snapshot is created and testing is ongoing
[17:04:07] <jaheikki3> The target is to freeze Qt 6.11.3 release content by the end of this week
[17:04:26] <jaheikki3> and the target is to release Qt 6.11.3 Thu 24th September
[17:04:45] <jaheikki3> That's all about 6.11 status at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:05:46] <jaheikki3> Then 6.12 status
[17:06:01] <jaheikki3> Branching from 6.12 to 6.12.0 is done
[17:06:09] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.12.0 RC content is frozen, packages are created and testing is ongoing
[17:06:35] <jaheikki3> We will release Qt 6.12.0 RC later this week, when testing is done
[17:06:57] <jaheikki3> And the target is still release Qt 6.12.0 final Wed 30th September
[17:07:19] <jaheikki3> That's all about 6.12 status at this time. Any comments or questions?
[17:07:32] <vohi[M]> We had 3 potential vulnerabilities reported over the last couple of days; are we treating those as blockers, if confirmed at least?
[17:08:10] <thiago> I'm seeing a rise in vuln reports elsewhere too
[17:08:31] <jaheikki3> if confirmed yes. But that doesn't delay RC but of course needs to be fixed before final
[17:10:34] <vohi[M]> the main source of the increase is our own risk assessment work, but there's definitely also more coming in from other sources. Which is no surprise given how comparatively easy it is to point an AI at some code. Confirmed vulnerabilities blocking a release is a good and necessary principle, at any rate.
[17:12:50] <jaheikki3> It was all at this time so let's end this meeting now & have new one Tue 22nd September at this same time.
[17:13:01] <jaheikki3> thanks for your participation, bye!
[17:13:07] <vohi[M]> bye
[17:13:12] <thiago> bye
