Not all users follow the mailing lists, so I've also asked from people hanging on #qt-qml. The feedback for this idea of merging with #qt-quick has been very positive. Unless someone comes up with reasonable objections, we will turn on the redirect on Monday 8th July that is one week from the proposal e-mail quoted above.
