[Interest] Qt5 print dialogue for linux/cups - "ppd options"

I'd like to get some information wether it is planned to "recover" the "ppd 
options" for qt5?

Many printers provide extra functionality like stapling, stitching etc... 
through the ppd options. I think, it would be a shame if this functionality is 
lost for qt5 based apps.
