The problem is whether there will be security fixes for it. CVE-2019-9636 was
published this year 65 days after January 1. If the community won't be
supporting the release with fixes, you'll have to go find those fixes
elsewhere and the quality of those can be in question.

Please remember to charge your customer appropriately for requiring extra
effort to deal with deprecated software.
