Oh my God, the discussion
just got even more ridiculous... 

But anyway, the build support was
definitely NOT cut off from QtC, I think you misunderstood, the support
is rather done in such a way that the IDE drives an underlying scripted
build system rather than making all the compiler and linker calls by
itself. 

Which is by the way much better design because it's much more
flexible.
