Hi Gordon
Take a look at Marius's two blogs on the subject:
http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2009/10/12/to-make-or-not-to-make-qmake-and-
beyond
http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2009/10/14/to-make-or-not-to-make-qmake-and-
beyond-redux/
In summary: we are thinking of replacing the aging qmake, there is no perfect
solution and the current best option is cmake. But even cmake has a couple of
things we need fixed before adpoting it.
